Mahabodhi Temple
The Mahabodhi Temple is the main and most important attraction in Bodh Gaya. It was built in the 7th century, surrounding the Bodhi Tree which Gautam Buddha sat under whilst he attained enlightenment and propagated his thoughts and beliefs that changed human thoughts in a holy way.
Bodhi Tree

It is one of the most liked and visited Hindu temples where devotees go and pray for their well-being. As its name suggests, this temple was built as a dedication to Lord Vishnu which features a 40 cm long footprint of Lord Vishnu that is enclosed by a basin made of silver plates.
Muchalinda Lake
One of the most popular sites to visit at Bodh Gaya, the Muchalinda Lake is located next to the main temple. It is associated with a mythological tale stating that once Lord Buddha was protected from the storm by Snake King Muchalinda.
Brahamyoni Temple
This temple is one most eye–catching sights of Bodhgaya. Devotees who wish to visit this temple have to go through a grueling climb of 424 high stone steps to reach the top of the hill, atop which lies this temple.
