Prayagraj, also called Prayag, formerly called Allahabad is situated at the confluence of River Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Prayag is considered one of the ancient cities in the world. The Triveni Sangam is named so because it is the junction point of three rivers – Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati which is a mythical river, supposed to have dried) Both Ganga and Yamuna are extremely revered rivers in Indian mythology, and hence the confluence point of these rivers have attained extremely high religious importance in the Hindu devotees.
This bridge was constructed in 2004. The newly designed cable-stayed New Yamuna Bridge over the river Yamuna was built to reduce the traffic flow on the Old Naini Bridge in Prayagraj. It runs from northern to southern Prayagraj connecting it to Naini. Running over 1510 meters, the bridge is supported by cables to its deck.

Chandra Shekhar Azad Park was originally known as Alfred Park during the British colonial era, Chandrashekhar Azad Park is also known as the Company Garden. Located in the George Town of Prayagraj, this beautiful park was established in 1870 as a significant mark of the arrival of Prince Alfred into the city. Company Garden was further renamed Chandrashekar Azad Park in 1931 after he died as a martyr here.
